Deism is about me, what I think, what I want…..What makes sense to me …. Me. Me Me. God forbid I should receive council or be punished for Sin. How ridiculous. Is God just chilling out in the clouds admiring his creations? You people are Demonic. There will be a Special Place in Hell for you all. The Bible warns about the dire consequences of altering anything contained in its Holy Word. Repent before the Trumpet Sounds Heralding The Return Of Christ.

So he doesn't cater to wishful thinking. Sounds more reasonable than theism. I already knew that but yeah. The people in the 18th century would more likely just be atheists if they were alive today though.

When it comes to my own personal views about God (and based on how I went on in life) I feel like God does intervene with your life to a certain point. I do believe there are consequences after him giving you so many chances, that he will abandon you and leave you on your own if you don’t realize your blessings in the amidst of your misfortunes.

Very strong arguments for God in deism. The problem is that it falls apart philosophically. I don’t think God would create the universe and then just back off and not care about it. If I created the universe I would care about it and care about humans.

deism is cool for me since it removes that mythological fictional aspect with all the unnecessary cultish rituals and man-made stuff. no need for that endless debates what culture has the realest diety. in a sense, deism is the idea of god without proof, without that head on conclusion that my god from my culture is real because my society told me so

I do not believe that deism simply prohibits God’s intervention in our lives, because deism is not a religion and there are no specific conditions or descriptions for God. I mean, who set certain conditions and descriptions and specified that God does not interfere in our world? How did he know that? Did God say that? The answer is no. Correct definition of deism: Faith must be in God only, without following a religion, and we do not know the nature of God. Was this one god or several gods, or did he intervene in our world, or did we abandon

deism as just belief in God without setting a concept or conditions for God

Deism was more fulfilling to me than Christianity was ever

Yea , a personal god , that is to say one that hears and answers prayer , intervenes and creates miracles is not believable . “God” seems to be synonymous with nature

Deists also don't attribute gods to be interactive with humans. Pantheism doesn't parallel with deism because of its nature with god interaction.
