I believe Hyundai has something called the ioniq 5 where a young lady has won herself and I do believe it's a self-driving car and the reason why she has one is because she's blind and cannot see it all. If I had one question mark I would do the same thing Abbott drive me around everywhere so that I can actually use it to the best of my ability, however somebody's going to have to train me on how to use it and to show me how it actually works!

Frewways are certainly the easiest exercise for an AI.

Yes, you CAN compensate for other human driver mistakes and machines can do so BETTER without blindspotss or distractions like eating, shaving, tying a tie, doing makeup, talking on the phone, etc., and with faster reaction times. The catch is detecting and responding to dangers smoothly enough so passengers aren't bouncing around seats or dealing unusual obstacles (animal carcase or garbage dropped on the road or weirdly shaped pothole).

I’m just curious I used to be a limo driver. I had a person to pass out nonresponsive in the back of my car. What would happen if that exact same scenario old happened in a Waymo car or one of these other autonomous driving cars?

The incident this video cites as an issue (driving into a parade route) was neither an accident nor dangerous. They are really desperate to make Waymo seem controversial

What happens if the car need to be charged?

Have Waymo search local, state and federal websites for upcoming events to assist in detecting parades.

In about five years, they’ll have a flawless driving algorithm so that’s something to look forward too

Just my opinion that Waymo should not drive on a freeway. Rode to a restaurant on Waymo a few weeks ago and the vehicle took an unusual route and had to back up on the street because of truck blocking its path.

So no one cares about the people who drive to make a living transporting you guys from place to place, but only about you having i guess some dream perfect ride, and company profit. Making sure I got that right?

It is noy safety. It is called control and restrictions.

CBS mornings – never mind that WAYMO cars cost $250,000 each and its not SCALEABLE.

  • @markplott4820

    02/20/2025 - 10:55 PM

CBS mornings – FALSE , Waymo uses human drivers with Remote software.
WAYMO is a big fat LIE.

Imagine if everyone just took waymo or some other driverless taxi to the airports. That would be crazy. Less traffic from bad driving, less congestion since the cars would return back to their base etc.

Even better if they start mastering drone cars.

If driverless cars are safer than human drivers (by 72%), why be a backseat driver? 😂
