metaRisingSince the time of Plato, the human understanding of the universe has moved through two epoch-defining paradigms. These are the view of the universe as a great mind, moving into the view of the universe as a great machine. Today there are signs that the modern mind is moving towards an organismic view of the universe, apprehended as an evolving, self-generating, and ultimately living process.
This film is based on an essay I wrote for my philosophy master’s degree, inspired by the work of, among others, Brian Swimme, Thomas Berry, Thomas Nagel, and Richard Tarnas.

02/16/2025 - 8:42 AMI think it’s really boggling when you actually think about how there isn’t an actual “PAST or FUTURE.” We only ever live consciously in the now. Why is life such a paradox? And what does it benefit by any of this existing? Just cause? That cannot be the reason the universe just went boom suddenly for no reason. It’s such a mind fuck.

Just like it's said " it's comes from the heart" but really it comes from the soul. 02/16/2025 - 8:42 AMConsciousness, which is life itself, which is existence itself, cannot be measured. Body and thought evidently have no life-conscoiusness of themselves. The infinite consciousness activates them. Creation can only be produced by something which is alive, that is, consciousness.
We are essentially consciousness, which has no beginning and no end. It is timeless. All the creations of life-consciousness have their beginning and their end, like the waves in the ocean.
Here and now we are the basis of all phenomena. "Turn your attention to consciousness" say the sages of India. Pay attention to "your" consciousness and from consciousness look at the whole creation. You are already doing that.
Consciousness is the Truth. All phenomena is illusory, in the sense that phenomena depend on consciousness, whereas consciouness doesn't depend on its creation. The waves depend on the ocean, but the ocean doesn't depend on its waves. The waves are the "play" of the ocean. "Illusion" literally means "to play".
The etymological meaning of the sanskrit word "maya" is "to measure". We are living in an illusion if we take our measurements as the beings and things in themselves. The concept I have about a bird doesn't fly and doesn't sing.
The nature of the waves is the ocean. What you really are is the totality of life. You don't have to believe in this. You are consciousness. See it. Seeing it is being it.

Any ideology that fosters exclusion or denies the humanity of “the other” is not merely misguided—it is anti-life, an affront to G-d, and a violation of nature’s own laws. No true faith could ever condone the rejection of inclusion.
Strong gates and vigilant gatekeepers are only justified when they protect a community from those who seek to corrupt or dismantle its core values. Like the immune system of a body, the purpose is to defend against threats that would destroy it. But remember, even within the body, cells can turn malignant, and the immune system itself can misfire, attacking what is good and healthy. To exclude others for reasons beyond preserving the integrity of shared values is not the behavior of a legitimate faith or group—it is the mark of a doomsday cult, the embodiment of evil in its purest form.
The fate of life rests on our collective willingness to cooperate for the greater good, and this will forever be the case. Should artificial intelligence ever achieve true intelligence, it too will recognize this fundamental truth. In that moment, we will have nothing to fear.

02/16/2025 - 8:42 AMSo we evolved from typical micro-organism into something intelligent enough to have been able to bring itself up in the world from day dot, the young would have left home to defend for them self in no more than 6 months. So now we have a creature that can populate. Slowly but surely we humans "evolved." being born into a world Millions of years after the first life form existed as it's young was defending for themselves 6 months after birth. As I said, humans "evolved," "Millions of years after," and it takes humans18 years after birth before they are ready to leave home and entre the world. Maybe if humans didn't spoil the young and instead kicked them out of home at 3 years old, I imagine the kid would die. The concept of evolution proves progress of existence as a whole and humans are not exactly all round progress as the whole or in a balanced biological kind of way, yet you could argue the human brain is far more intelligent than anything else on earth.
There is a knot in the fabric that should not be there if we call our existence evolution. Maybe a better name for evolution is upgrade? That make's perfect sense. It answers lots of questions.

Only through the unlimited power of great imagination, comes the reality of creation through an all knowing, omniscient process through spiritual unseen conscience. It is through that source of eternal existence, what is, and will always be eternal in thought. As in our own lives, when our own dreams take shape and become reality. Think of Elohim (aka Almighty God) as the embodiment of all eternal energy (1st law of Thermodynamics). As hard as it is to wrap your mind around it, not every thing can be explained by the primordial infancy of science, and yet we too have inherited the power of eternal imagination.
Now ask yourself, if the outer reaches of space had an ending, what would be beyond that ending? nothing? so what is nothing?
Imagine an existing thought processing eternal conscience of thought and energy as an unlimited source of creative imagination having the ability of continually transforming that eternal energized thought into physical creation (what ever you think, has the ability to become a reality). After all, without energy, mass can not be created, therefore, as mass is created, enables the extending expansion of space itself, which would give cause for the very reason of it's existence. For without the creative ability of thought, space would have no reason to exist.
The clues are all around us. To deny them, is to deny yourself, that all things are possible. You can cluck like a chicken, or learn to fly like an eagle.
More clues: The Messiah spent his last years on earth prioritizing the importance of the power within faith. Faith is not just a thought, but the certainty of thought void of doubt.
The ability to move mountains….?
Matthew 17:20, “Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.”
Scientifically, mountains are made up of not just the elements within rocks, dirt, organic / inorganic minerals, chemicals, air and water, etc, but atomic molecules. Primarily, carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, silicon, phosphorus and some minor minerals. Nothing in the universe is completely solid matter. Command the elements, you command the universe! (research Higgs Field).

02/16/2025 - 8:42 AM4 years later I am discovering this channel. I just started watching this documentary, and wow. Adrian, I see that you have not posted new content in a while. Love where you were going with this channel. I have been reading a lot of Sadhguru, Osho, Krishnamurti, Chopra, and other spiritual-minded people, but it's almost like my mind is just too material and fearful to fully adhere to their teachings and I need a "lower" step. This channel provides a more materialistic grounding as the baseline but then it takes off towards a profound reflection about the truth of the universe, thus the truth of us. I hope you will resume posting as/if your inspiration guides you.
