From Cold War competition to international collaboration, In Our Orbit traces the missions that surpassed each frontier, from the pioneering satellite Sputnik to the glory of the International Space Station.

Beyond Our Earth is a visually exciting retelling of humanity’s journey to understand our place in the universe, conquer space and understand the very fabric of the cosmos. Through rich stories of human endeavour and scientific intrigue, the series traces our species’ exploration of space, from the boundary of our planet’s atmosphere, to the edge of the universe’s inception.

We should have multiple space stations set further and further but at traveling distances from one another to slowly go deeper into space

The fact that you can’t even pronounce Gemini really makes me doubt the validity of the video.

Can someone please educate me? Is there something I’m missing? I’ve done some research and what I’ve learned is that The United States government/congress funds $63 billion dollars a year to NASA. These funds are acquired by taxation of the middle class… given that the only substantial contribution of space exploration is that scientists have determined the age of the universe, there is definitely NO GOLD OR CURES FOR DISEASE. Seems like a MASSIVE WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY CONSIDERING THERE ARE REAL PROBLEMS ON PLANET EARTH THAT COULD BE RESOLVED WITH THESE FUNDS INSTEAD OF PISSING IT OFF! 🤔
    Humans will NEVER inhabit Mars

Both nations have a gagantic impact on space exploration! But the USA with 80% of its space exploration knowledge and scientific backings from European scientists themselves having been bought out by NASA has pretty much put the cornerstone on where we are at currently with space exploration today !

👁The first recent man on the moon was in 1941 and 1942. About 8 germans went..and a small base was already completed by 1943. Building has never stopped. This is actually public access now.

I know it's sad and ugly but all the tests the Nazis did at the concentration camps regarding the human body and it's limits was really where these German scientist got all the knowledge sad but true
