This is one of the stupidest problems in the history of physics. True randomness is very difficult to achieve. Even if we assume 50% is a fixed chance of death/survival. Our observation doesn’t affect the Cat’s fate. I think events of TRUEEE 50% randomness may create different realities but they should have a significant butterfly effect to actually have the two realities be different from each other.

There are some people you can not explain this concept to. They either get hung up on 'How can a cat be alive and dead at the same time?' Or they think it means the cat is dead, but alive in spirit.

This doesn't make any sense, when you put the cat in there it was alive. So you have to assume it's alone until you have more information

The cat will be alive for the first 8 test.

Btw i dont understand this, its not a paradox its not a hard question, its a cat…. in a bunker with some gunpowder? Thats it? I mean what is so hard in this to understand, the cat is dead or alive 50/50, it doesnt matter what do we think, we cant change the "past" with just thinking the right or the false. (or do we? Hey, vsauce here.)

Im not sure that im right, but i didnt understand it. I mean i understand that there is something with the universes and with the guessing but i dont get it.

Short explanation: Schrödinger & Einstein believed that cat’s can’t be alive and dead at the same time. That’s point 1 (to clarify – they didn’t just think alive and dead at the same time was ‘counter-intuitive’ but logically impossible).

    So far so good.

The thought experiment was devised to demonstrate that (though ‘the math works’)… our understanding—our ‘interpretation’ of the quantum physics could be shown to lead directly to logically unacceptable claims (AKA a cat that is alive and dead).

Therefore (concluded E & S) there must be something wrong with our understanding—our interpretation of quantum physics.

    It’s really that straightforward.

In one narrative, Einstein is now portrayed as last -sighted ‘clinging’ to a classical view of the universe.

My view? I think E & S were saying, wherever science goes, logic must go with it.

(The ‘many words theory’ (the branching timelines) and so forth are attempts to make sense of the math in a way that allows for all cats in this universe to be either alive or dead—not both. With 2 different worlds each cat on each timeline gets to be just 1: dead or alive).

Sometime's I'll be lying in my room in near silence and think, "No one can see me and no one one on this planet knows what I'm doing at this very moment."

So really…. someone's gotta be watching me somewhere in the universe, right? What's to say what I'm doing is actually reality if it's only my reality, since I'm the only one observing it?

  • @jasonwalker9990

    02/20/2025 - 2:23 PM

The answer is simple of you look outside the box. The cat is inconsequential. If you are creating a test that works 50% of the time, then it will work 50% of the time. Maybe you should wonder why a cat is necessary in the first place. Or any living thing for that matter. This is a test that can be conducted without the loss of any life. If you want to know about the paradox of whether the cat is alive or dead based on our perception upon opening the box. I would say that there was never a box, never a means to kill said cat, and there was no box. With this in mind there is no death OR life only a theory.

I think chance of alive or unalive is not 50-50%, but the chance is 100% that the cat is alive AND 100% that the cat is unalive. That is the whole idea of superposition.

What does this have to do with wave and particle interference? If we observe the two-slot particles, it becomes a two-slit pattern. If we don't observe it – it becomes a wave pattern with interference from super-double-life-thingamajigger? Sorry, I have a low IQ and am on the verge of not caring.

Revelations. 4:6. And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.

Revelations. 4:6 Is what makes quantum entanglement possible, it reveals structure that is there that you don’t see, that quantum entanglement behaves because of. God created man in his own image. This is the image of God! Revelations 22:13. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. This is the structure of God.

The corn. Revelations 4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst ( in the midst, can only represent, the first and the last, as the center being everywhere throughout the beginning and the end ) of the throne, ( the first and the last, within the beginning and the end, as the seat of power ) and round ( the first and the last, is round the circumference of the beginning and the end ) about ( the first and the last, is about the diameter of the beginning and the end ) the throne, ( the first and the last, as the seat of power ) were four beasts ( the four beast is the human condition created in, the beginning and the end, the first and the last ) full ( the first and the last, as a completed totality throughout the structure of God, as the center being everywhere ) of eyes ( the first and the last ) before ( the last within the beginning of the Alpha ) and behind. ( the first within the end of the Omega ) Welcome to the dispensation of The Spirit Of Truth.

  • @Oneffunes

    02/20/2025 - 2:23 PM

The corn. Matthew 20:16 King James only. So the last shall be first and the first last. This is considered a superposition of the first and the last throughout the diameter of the beginning and the end, of the structure of God.

When the last within the beginning of the Alpha, collapse and become first, in the mind of my spirit, and I resist it, it will cause the first within the end of the Omega, to collapse and become last, in the mind of my spirit. This is called, the theology of the structure of God, the first and the last, is in a superposition throughout the beginning and the end.

When the last becomes first within the beginning of the Alpha, it is the last that becomes a singularity with the first, and when the first becomes last within the end of the Omega, it is the first that becomes a singularity with the last. The first and the last is in a superposition within the beginning and the end. Welcome to the dispensation of The Spirit Of Truth.

Luke 11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when thine eye is single, thy whole body also is full of light; but when thine eye is evil, thy body also is full of darkness.

The corn. Luke 11:34. The light ( divine light ) of the body ( the beginning and the end, the first and the last ) is the eye: ( the first! within the end of the Omega ) therefore ( for this reason ) when thine eye ( the first ) is single, ( becomes a singularity with the last ) thy ( wise virgins ) whole body ( the beginning and the end, the first and the last ) also ( meaning not only the first ) is full ( the first and the last as a superposition ) of light; ( divine light ) but when thine eye ( the first ) is evil, ( out of the dark intentions of the human condition ) thy ( wise virgins ) body ( the beginning and the end, the first and the last ) also is full ( throughout the entire beginning and the end, the first and the last ) of darkness. ( dark matter and dark energy, throughout the entire structure of, the beginning and the end, the first and the last, that you are in according to the beginning, and that is within you according to the end ) Welcome to the dispensation of The Spirit Of Truth.

""Schrodinger's Cat" was not a real experiment and therefore did not scientifically prove anything. Schrodinger's Cat is not even part of any scientific theory. Schrodinger's Cat was simply a teaching tool that Schrodinger used to illustrate how some people were misinterpreting quantum theory. Schrodinger constructed his imaginary experiment with the cat to demonstrate that simple misinterpretations of quantum theory can lead to absurd results which do not match the real world. Unfortunately, many popularizers of science in our day have embraced the absurdity of Schrodinger's Cat and claim that this is how the world really works."

But, why would the universe have an answer when WE open the bunker? It’s not like we’re some main character. We think the universe hasn’t created an answer yet because we don’t know the answer. Keyword think. So the universe will always have a answer. It doesn’t depend on anyone. But that’s just my take.

  • @arkilies8391

    02/20/2025 - 2:23 PM

OK this is absolutely philosophy and not physical or a physics question and never should of been interpreted as one. Your ignorant to think the world revolves around you so much that nature waits for you to see it. Also, you completely got schrodinger cat wrong. It's actually about the energy contained in light and so much more

  • @Juppie902

    02/20/2025 - 2:23 PM

this is wrong on so many levels the precursor to all this wrong theory is the assumption that our observation drives actions, reactions or consequences in nature, while it is not true. it is a consequence of time. time moves always in one direction we call it "forward" because it's easier for our small brains to assume that we understand time, en masses.
