It’s been about three years since I made a video about the Pi Network
and I thought be a great time to share my experience of what I think about the network since.
The Pi network is a project to make a global cryptocurrency because he called Pi and and it’s also a project to make an ecosystem
around this currency today there’s roughly 50 million people who mine Pi
on their phone.
The official Pi Twitter account has over 3 million followers and when I first saw this project there was a couple of reasons why I found it really interesting.
The first thing about this project that really stood out was that
it was made by very smart and recognizable academics who also went to Stanford many of you guys might have saw this article but this is what initially hooked me onto the project itself.
The second thing I liked about this project is that it had a lot of funding from very respectable and very wealthy people and according to a lot of court documents. A company was able to accumulate more than $800,000
in funding and having a lot of funding doesn’t mean a project is good or bad
but it does mean that the project can survive for a very long time.
And the third and the last reason why I talked about the Pi network at all
is because of how simple it is to mine Pi. This is basically done on an app on your phone and it doesn’t require any sort of money or big investment.
Instead you simply spend 5 seconds every single day to mine cryptocurrency on your phone and you basically just open the app and click a button
and for many people the goal was to accumulate as many coins as possible
and then sell these tokens.
Once the project initially launches and these are some of the things that I really enjoyed about the project and there are a couple issues and possible solution to this issue that I’m gonna talk about in the later parts of this video
but over the years this project has been accused of being a scam
and in this video I’m gonna talk about what I think about this project and how my thoughts have changed over the yearsthe first thing I wanna talk about
is whether or not Pi is actually a scam

02/22/2025 - 9:18 AMgiving everyone access to crypto currency for what? so they can participate in gambling, ive been in the cryptocurrency space since bitcoin was $7usd each, to simply put it, what these poor countries need is a stable coin/bank not a volatile currency this currency doesnt provide what they need, for the most part its just gambling and ad revenue for the owners of pi, nothing more or less, its not doing anything revolutionary if they can access pi on their phone they can access any cryptocurrency via their phone, dont get caught up in bs hype, i have 3000 pi and im dumping that shit asap

Whilst you could claimed PI is for real but they can also be some knock-off version. How can we tell the difference between a real against the fake one? Guess this would rely the leap of faith of each individual huh?

The delusional people supporting this token are like nothing I have ever seen when PCT posts tweets on X. This project is a complete failure, should of launched in 2021, now whenever it does it may have an initial decent price $1 or maybe more, but will settle under 1c at some point.
