02/17/2025 - 12:43 AMSomething is off though. In the block that is the universe where future past and present exists all at the same time. Why can we only remember the past through memory. Why only the past. We however have no access to the future reglardless to whether we can predict it in limited ways. Also why does the brain have elasticity? The ability to change from a pattern of expect behavior to a different behaviour entirely. Can we really still say Free Will doesn't exist? It wouldn't if we had access to our future as much as we do to our past. No?

I get some of it, like if a space ship came to us, the moment they arrive here, the time would be 2124 but if we have an instantenous connection, they should talk to us in 2024 right? Cause just because they're moving towards us, that does not mean time is frozen for them. We move forward together in time, right?

I can predict that if I call someone bad names, they will punch me in the face. Does that take away their free will? No—they still made the choice.
Even if the future is predefined and computable, every being within it still makes its own choices. It would simply be like someone being exceptionally good at predicting people’s behavior.
And if that future can be influenced in a predictable way, then it's nothing more than flawless manipulation.
If we are just mindless output of physics rules – bunch of atoms interacting with each other – then it does not matter if universe is deterministic of not. We only shift moment of rolling the dice from begining of universe to "now".
