The majority of the universe is made up of a currently mysterious entity that pervades space: dark energy. We don’t know exactly what it is, but we do know that dark energy accelerates the expansion of space. We think this means the Universe will expand forever, even as our view of it shrinks while space expands faster all the time.

We may have a few trillion years to explore? And the sun is expected to die in 9 billion years 😂😂😂😂

Put two ants on a balloon and then blow up the balloon. The ants will try to reach each other but the distance will get further and further the ants will call it dark energy. The same is with humans. There has been an explosion at the start of the universe which is making the universe expand and we’re calling it dark energy. And the acceleration is because the exploded particles are exploding. It’s like fire work. The first one goes up and it explodes as it’s going up and each particle explodes even farther.

Ok so do we know where the origin of the big bang was?

This is just a guess. The Big Bang.

Wouldn't it be more accurate to say that we're moving towards the Andromeda Galaxy though?

So… We would also be billions of light years away from a galaxy where there are life forms asking the same questions we ask…

Does gravity really effect the expansion of space though? If all space at all times and all locations at all scales of size is expanding equally does space expand within everything and gravity just holds material and energy together or is it actually pulling the material and energy apart from itself in all directions. Also if space is expanding in all directions wouldn't that make you assume that space time in reverse would contract into a ball therefore making someone think it's a sphere whose internal volume is traversable?

so we can hypothesise the big bang to be an expansion of a higher dimension. as humans are 3D objects who can only precieve 3D objects the expansion is percieved by us to be 3D and can be seen as the beginning of the space-time fabric. but it might be possible that in a 4D or higher plane of existance this is a common thing and can be easily explained.

Hi Phil, I absolutely a great fan of you but request you to slow down your rate of speech. Because these facts are new to us. Your speech clearly appears faster than the speed of light.
    Thanks.

Is it possible to generate energy from the expansion of space making the heat death of the universe irrelevant?

  • @cedricvelarde

    02/12/2025 - 10:07 AM

The scary thing about universal expansion is maybe space is already accelerating faster than light, but we don't see it yet. We see the galaxies but in reality, we are now alone.

I never knew, science could be so distorted. He acts like he knows exactly what he's talkin about. I'm glad he's not my doctor. I don't know if he's just a true believer for willingly goes along with the the big lie.Our understanding of gravity can explain why an apple falls from a tree and how our planet orbits the sun. But when it comes to the most gigantic things in the universe — from galaxies on up — our current theories fail us. The leading contender for explaining why big things don't behave like they should is a theoretical substance called dark matter. But we've never directly seen it, and worse, it doesn't fully explain the mystery. There's a vocal minority that says dark matter doesn't exist at all. Instead, it's our understanding of gravity that needs tweaking…….. He's heard it in college.what people don't know or understand , they believe or know just want to fit in. Or just maybe he's an actor.

What about this analogy: Imagine a Motorbike running towards a curve. If you are good in physics, you can calculate when and how it will be flung out of the curve, but if you assume, that there's a rider on that bike, you know that he will steer it through the curve with ease.

Same goes for the life expectancy of the sun, the earth, humanity or even individual humans. If you assume, that there's a God managing all of this, you know that everything will be ok.

As for dark energy: A lot of things happen, that we still can't explain or even imagine. We see the effect, but have no idea how and why it works. Maybe God makes the universe expand directly, who knows?

Imo, the universe is a huge art exhibition, and we are invited to watch and look at it, admiring its creator.

    Science is:
    – more satisfying
    – more stimulating
    – more truthful
    – than any of the stupid parasitic religions that infects the human intellect of our day
    – we are nothing more than just very smart bugs
