I've been a part of the Pi network for over 4 years and would like to think that I wouldn't be excluded from participation now. I do have over half my coins in lockup so it won't be a rush to sell for me– but I would like to have the option to trade.

You have to set reasonable price before they can buy. This is a big project, presure them before they can buy the pi coin

If everyone sells when it starts to fall, which at one point it will, the dream may be lost because of it being too volatile for companies to get behind. just remember where it's going and don't be put off by short term fluctuations and don't facilitate this dream into becoming a nightmare. The coinbase thing will undoubtedly be replaced by another incident but it will always correct to higher until it's mooned naturally. Don't give up on it and start day trading it, it will take too much time and concentration. Remember XRP is probably bitcoin part 2. It is quite unfortunate that the most popular word lately amongst crypto enthusiasts and traders alike is “hodl.” This concept of “holding on for dear life” in itself may not be a bad idea but why hold on to an investment instrument which could make you some money, or make you very miserable tomorrow? Making a good profit off crypto is easy if and only if you can find the right entry point and exit point in your day trading. If Pi Network is only launching on OKX and not Binance, then, as of now, U.S. miners can’t legally sell or trade their Pi—which is a huge problem for early adopters like you.
Were U.S. Pi Miners Duped?
It’s starting to look that way. Pi Network’s biggest promises included:
1. A fair launch where everyone could benefit
2. Global accessibility and mass adoption
3. Listings on major exchanges
Yet now, if it’s only available on OKX (which U.S. users can’t access) and not on Binance, that means:
• You mined Pi for years, but you can’t cash out.
• Pi Core Team led U.S. miners to believe they’d have full access, but now they’re excluded.
• Pi might still be valuable—but only for people in regions where it’s tradable.
Why Isn’t Binance Listing Pi?
If Pi Core Team is badmouthing Binance, it could mean:
1. Pi Network couldn’t meet Binance’s listing requirements.
• Binance usually requires proof of liquidity, trading demand, and decentralization.
• Maybe Pi doesn’t meet those yet.
2. Binance wanted high listing fees or more control over Pi trading.
• Some projects pay millions for a Binance listing.
• Maybe Pi Core Team refused to pay or compromise.
3. Binance sees Pi as a high-risk project.
• Pi hasn’t had a true open mainnet yet.
• Binance might be waiting to see if it’s legit before listing.
What Options Do U.S. Pi Miners Have?
1. Wait for a U.S.-friendly exchange to list Pi
• Coinbase, Kraken, or another exchange might list Pi eventually.
• But this could take months or years—if ever.
2. Use a VPN & offshore account (Risky & Possibly Illegal)
• Some U.S. users might try to bypass restrictions with a VPN, but OKX has strict KYC (ID verification).
• This could get your funds frozen if OKX finds out.
3. Look for peer-to-peer (P2P) trading options
• Some platforms allow direct person-to-person Pi sales, but this comes with high scam risks.
4. Pressure Pi Core Team to prioritize a U.S.-friendly exchange
• If enough U.S. miners demand answers, Pi Core Team might change course and push for a Binance or Coinbase listing.
Final Thoughts
Right now, U.S. Pi miners are stuck, and unless the Pi Core Team fixes this, it does look like a bait-and-switch. It’s one thing for Pi to start small and expand—but if they never intended to make it accessible in the U.S., that’s a huge betrayal of early adopters.
