02/22/2025 - 2:01 AMPeople saying "we got played" are being childish. Did you spend any actual money? No – not one cent. You gave them about 5 seconds a day, at the most.
I kept ads disabled, which anyone could have done. It wasn't about the ad revenue.
The real investment came from them: They built it, ran it and developed it for the past 6 years with only $800,000 seed funding. If this is 'getting played' I would say they lost.
Anyone crying about it now was never in it for the for the right reasons. Pi isn't a 'get rich quick' scheme. It's about building something that lasts. Usually wealth gets transferred from the bottom up. Pi has the potential redistribute in the other direction…to be a truly global, decentralized, cryptocurrency for the masses. BUT, success on that scale requires solidarity, and most importantly delayed gratification.

02/22/2025 - 2:01 AMThe people panicking because a coin didn't reach x price on day 1 of open trading are delusional and have no idea how financial markets work, they make me laugh.
For day 1 trading pi has shown it's potential, that said, we need more business partners and big companies eager to adopt pi, we also need real world polished applications in the eco system. Pi needs to provide services and solutions to real world problems in order for adoption to hit new highs and demand to rise to the point where pi coin can actually raise it's value to $314 and beyond.

I don't know why people are panicking and selling this Gem for no price. $100 per Pi coin is still cheaper for Pi Project. Initially I moved few Pi to the exchange and there are still there I AM NOT SELLING MY PI COINS.

The owners scammed all of us and enriched themselves with the ad revenue from the stupid ads we all had to watch. If it is ever listed on US exchanges, the only change will be MORE selling pressure, NOT buying pressure. The "team" has lied and cajoled the community at every turn and all I see are people who are too gullible to recognize what happened. On launch day Pi had NO LIQUIDITY POOL! I have mined for 4 years or so, and am deleting their stupid app. No more ad revenue from this guy for those scammers.
